Veronika Vaněčková is an experienced lawyer with 10 years of practice and knowledge in two major areas, finance and real estate, combined with experience in negotiating contracts involving large multinational companies and financial institutions in both common law and civil law jurisdictions, not only in Europe, but also in other international business environments.

    Veronika focuses on legal services in all areas of banking and financial law, in particular in relation to export, project, real estate and asset-based finance. Her aim is to provide legal support to both domestic and international clients with creative flair and commercial acumen, searching for new models when needed.

    Before joining the firm, Veronika worked for JPMorgan Chase in London, where she sharpened her skills of drafting and reviewing various types of contracts, which almost invariably included a cross-border element. In her foreign practice, she was primarily devoted to a full range of complex domestic and multijurisdictional supply chain finance (SCF) transactions, covering end-to-end deal management of negotiated transactions and the documentation negotiation process with external clients, as well as internal partners, in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Veronika has been involved in many global SCF transactions, acquiring knowledge of receivables financing in more than 20 jurisdictions.

    Veronika earned a PgC degree in “International Business Practice” during her one-year traineeship with JPMorgan, New York.

    Veronika also supports our Real Estate Practice, focusing primarily on assisting clients with asset management and negotiating leases of office, retail and production space. Veronika has been involved in major due diligence projects, asset management and the drafting of comprehensive contractual documentation for both property owners and tenants.

    In addition, Veronika has provided counselling on corporate law to both national companies and national branches of global companies. Her experience comprises corporate matters management, and drafting and reviewing corporate documents and shareholders’ agreements. Veronika also has experience with insurance law and related regulatory matters and has participated in creating a unique peer-to-peer insurance company structure.

    Veronika is active in the publication of professional papers related to the topic of corporate law. She is a co-author of four legal commentary books on a new Corporate Act, with a main focus on joint stock and limited liability companies (publishers: ANAG and Linde).
