Dasith Vithanage is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in our London office. His practice involves advising on corporate and private equity transactions involving cross-border M&A, restructuring and venture capital. Dasith acts for clients in a multitude of sectors, including technology, media and telecommunications, healthcare and retail.

    He qualified in New South Wales, Australia, in 2014 and has experience of private practice and in-house experience in the European, Australian and New Zealand markets.

    • Acting for Welltel (Ireland) Limited an enterprise phone system, business broadband and cloud infrastructure entity, in its multiple Ireland, UK and US acquisitions of upstream and horizontal market entities.
    • Acting for a UK Esports Gaming League, involved in Formula 1 and English Premier League in its acquisition by Esports Entertainment Group, Inc. (Nasdaq CM: GMBL, GMBLW), an esports entertainment and online gambling operator.
    • Acting for a UK online gambling platform, specialising in international and domestic cricket betting in its acquisition by a multinational sports betting house.
    • Acting for an Irish market leader in EPOS, in its acquisition of a competitor retail software management entity.
    • Acting for a Swedish conglomerate in its cross-border acquisition of a supplier of custom magnetic components with entities in Ireland, the US, the Czech Republic and India.
    • Advising 46 Irish and UK retail pharmacy groups accumulating to over 200 operating retail pharmacies in consolidation for the purpose of IPO.
    • Acting for an Irish software start-up specialising in online card payments in its capital expansion through venture capital investment.
    • Acting for a venture capital firm in its investment in a healthcare and medicine development company focused on iron supplements.
