Emma Wayland is a senior associate in our Labour & Employment Practice and is based in our Manchester office.

    Emma advises companies on a broad range of employment matters, often with complex cross-border elements.

    Her experience includes advising on the transfer of employees globally as part of mergers and outsourcing transactions; reorganisations and redundancies; and day-to-day HR matters, including the settlement of disputes.

    Prior to joining the firm, Emma spent several years as in-house employment counsel in the technology sector, which ensures a uniquely practical and commercial approach with an emphasis on providing businesses with strategic solutions.

    Emma also has expertise in the public sector due to a number of years spent working within central government.
