Taylor Weaver’s practice focuses on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, capital markets transactions, corporate governance and securities law compliance matters for private and public companies. He represents buyers and sellers, both private equity and strategic, in connection with acquisitions and dispositions of companies and assets in various industries. He represents investors in both early- and late-stage investments through a variety of investment structures. Taylor counsels companies on matters including securities, fund formation, fundraising, small business investment company (SBIC) certification, and general commercial and contractual negotiations. Finally, Taylor represents underwriters in issuing representation and warranty insurance.

Taylor serves on the Illinois Advisory Board of America Needs You. He was also the co-founder and president of the Urban Energy Garden, a nonprofit created to empower disadvantaged communities by developing leaders and educating the public on environmental health, sustainable energy and technology.
