Robert has a strong track record helping media and consumer product businesses diversify their revenue generating operations. He advises on commercial contracts, IP licensing, joint ventures and corporate governance. Areas of focus include social media, behavioural targeting and the impact of pricing guarantees on media buying. In the marketing services sector, where he is an industry figure, Robert advises on some of the world’s largest contracts appointing advertising, media, public relations, brand identity and market research agencies. He also advises on advertising clearance and production issues, including sponsorships and branded content. Much of his work has an international focus.

Robert has nearly 20 years’ experience and has advised his clients during economic booms (he was one of the first lawyers in the UK to be advising on internet content issues, from 1994 onwards) and three economic downturns.
