Ewelina Witek’s practice focuses on regulatory matters, including telecommunications and personal data protection regulations, as well as e-commerce, IP, consumer protection and contractual law. She provides legal assistance to the clients operating in different sectors, including telecom operators, online service providers, financial institutions and manufacturers of different types of goods. Ewelina has also advised clients on contractual and regulatory matters in connection with the significant infrastructural projects developed in Poland. Currently Ewelina is doing post-graduate studies on “New Technologies Law”.


  • Advising two of the largest mobile operators in Poland on telecommunications and personal data processing law including preparation for, and participation in, negotiations of agreements for access to telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Advising a telecommunications company on the largest sale and leaseback of telecommunications infrastructure in CEE.
  • Advising a virtual mobile network operator (MVNO) on winding up of business in Poland.
  • Advising a major mobile operator in Poland on a business transaction with another mobile operator involving radio access network sharing and creation of an SPV.
  • Advising a US-based company and its subsidiaries in Poland on personal data processing in a capital group including the transfer of personal data to the US.
  • Advising a Germany-based mobile operator on personal data protection issues and confidential telecommunications information in planning to introduce CRM and a financial clearance system in a subsidiary in Poland.
  • Advising two major mobile operators in Poland on personal data protection and confidential telecommunications information when providing telecommunications services.
  • Advising a US-based client on ongoing investigations in Poland regarding personal data protection issues affecting the company in Poland.
  • Advising a client in the US on personal data protection regarding extension of loans including registration of client databases, outsourcing personal data processing and acting as a data controller as required under Polish law.
  • Advising a US-based firm on obtaining clearance from the personal data authority for data transfer to the US.
  • Advising an investor in France in the renewable energy sector on the construction, acquisition and running of wind farms in Poland, including due diligence of the land designated for the construction of a wind farm.
  • Advising a leading Spanish investor in the renewable energy sector on an investment comprising construction and acquisition of wind farms in Poland, including due diligence of the land designated for the construction of a wind farm.
  • Advising an investor in Italy on an acquisition of a majority stake in an engineering and bridging construction firm.
  • Providing legal assistance to an investor in Italy constructing a logistics center in Poland regarding a real estate acquisition and a loan for investment in Poland.
  • Drafting lease agreements for a prestigious office space and space in shopping centers.
