Mariola Wolska-Wasiak’s practice focus is labour and immigration law, as well as commercial and corporate law.

    Mariola focuses on providing ongoing advice on HR matters, drawing up, analysing, and commenting on employment agreements, civil law contracts and internal employers’ regulations and policies. Mariola also advises on immigration aspects of employment law pertaining to the legality of employing foreigners and their residence in Poland.

    Mariola also provides corporate advice on day-to-day operations and corporate governance. She handles the setting up and winding up of companies and branches of non-Poland-based companies and registration procedures in this regard.

    Additionally, Mariola represents clients in court and out-of-court dispute resolutions and is listed as a professional mediator at the Mediation Centre of the Polish Supreme Bar Council specializing in civil, commercial and labour cases.

    Mariola also performs due diligence of labour, civil and commercial law and litigation.

    • Advising Polish and foreign clients in various sectors on labor law issues, including drawing up employment agreements, annexes to employment agreements, non-disclosure and non-competition agreements.
    • Representing a client in the media and advertising sector in proceedings before the Polish administrative authorities in regard to the legality of the employment and residence in Poland of a member of its management board.
    • Advising a Poland-based company in the medical technologies sector on hiring its foreign employees and contractors in Poland.
    • Advising Israeli citizens on restitution of Polish citizenship.
    • Drawing up contracts, legal opinions and memorandums for foreign and local clients on labor and immigration matters, civil and administrative law, as well as on contracts and corporate law.
    • Setting up and registering companies in various sectors, corporate housekeeping and handling winding-up procedures.
    • Representing Polish individual in international inheritance procedures concerning her inheritance located in multiply countries and under a number of jurisdictions.
    • Co-representing a Spanish company in litigation and mediation with a Poland-based entity in the food industry regarding product quality and a mutual payment settlement.
    • Co-representing a client in the industry sector in litigation concerning demands for payment from its former client.
