About Anna

Anna is a director in the Leeds Pensions team. Anna qualified as a pensions lawyer in September 2011 and has experience dealing with a wide range of pensions issues affecting defined contribution and defined benefit pension schemes.

Anna has experience in providing advice to both trustees and sponsoring employers and advising corporate clients in respect of the pensions implications of proposed transactions.

Experience

  • Advising trustees and trustee directors on trustee knowledge and understanding requirements, trustee duties and governance obligations.
  • Redrafting scheme documentation to consolidate, update and amend where required.
  • Advising and drafting plan documentation in relation to scheme closure exercises.
  • Advising trustee clients on general day to day matters, including benefit queries, legislative changes, member nominated trustee/ director procedures and member communications.
  • Advising in relation to sectionalised and non-sectionalised scheme merger exercises, including project management and drafting of merger documentation.
  • Advising trustees in relation to investment fund management agreements.
  • Preparing and presenting tailored trustee training.
  • Advising employers and trustees on legislative changes and compliance, including in relation to auto-enrolment.
  • Advising trustee clients in connection with disputes with scheme members.
  • Advising in respect of PPF-compliant guarantees.
