About Anya
Anya Bharat Ram is an associate in the firm’s International Trade & Foreign Investment Practice Group, working in customs, sanctions compliance, national security review, government contracting and trade policy.
Anya earned her J.D. from University of Illinois College of Law. During law school, Anya served as the vice president of the Data Privacy and Protection Association and participated in the Family Advocacy Clinic.
Prior to law school, Anya worked in public policy in Delhi, India, where she was able to assist numerous members of the Indian Parliament and state legislatures on a range of legislative matters, including setting budgets, introducing bills, and other policy initiatives.
