About Ilze
Ilze Vigo is a director in the Financial Services Practice, based in the London office. She has more than 15 years of experience as a general banking lawyer, acting on a wide range of bilateral and syndicated financing transactions in a variety of industries.
Ilze uses her broad experience to help multinational companies, financial institutions and other clients on corporate, bank and sovereign debt, leveraged finance, and receivables and asset-backed financing transactions.
Experience
- Acting for a supplier of food processing systems on several financings, including its sustainability-linked syndicated credit facility and its leveraged financing of the acquisition of a company in the Netherlands.
- Representing a listed company in relation to the financing of its acquisition of a US company.
- Assisting an African multilateral finance institution on a number of secured and unsecured financing transactions in Africa.
- Assisting a number of investment companies and sponsors with the recapitalisation of their portfolio companies.
- Representing several insurance companies in connection with collateral arrangements relating to insurance and reinsurance arrangements (including longevity risk transfers).
- Acting for a major international bank on a series of loans to a bank in Azerbaijan.
- Assisting a multinational vehicle manufacturer on vehicle financing arrangements.
