Jian (Brenda) Xu is a principal in our Los Angeles and Houston offices and serves as a trusted advisor with a practice centered on cross-border transactions.
With her deep experience in foreign direct investment between the US and Asia, mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, private equity, joint ventures, debt financing and corporate restructuring, Brenda delivers comprehensive counsel that drives business success across borders.
Brenda brings a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to every client engagement and often serves as a go-to corporate lawyer on cross-practice matters. Her ability to anticipate client needs, often beyond the traditional corporate scope, makes her an invaluable asset to both domestic and international clients. Over the past decade Brenda has represented numerous clients in the technology, manufacturing, finance, real estate and other industries in their inbound and outbound matters.
Brenda began her legal career in our Beijing office in 2008 and has been based in Los Angeles since 2012, and currently sits in our Houston office. She is admitted to practice in New York, California and Texas and passed the PRC Bar Examination making her uniquely position to advise clients in the US and Asia.
