About Kara-Marie
Kara-Marie Urban is an associate in the Public Policy Practice. Among her various focuses, she monitors the evolving legislative and regulatory landscape and analyzes regulations relating to agriculture, biotechnology, food policy and healthcare that may affect clients in the public, private and nonprofit sectors.
She leverages her policy and regulatory understanding and familiarity with congressional procedures, as well as her network of contacts, to provide government affairs counseling and strategic advocacy advice to help guide clients to achieve their objectives before the federal government and on a national level.
Kara-Marie graduated in 2020 from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, where she was editor-in-chief of the Catholic University Law Review. While in law school, Kara-Marie served as a law clerk for the US Senate Finance Committee and the US House Ways & Means Committee. She received her B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from Virginia Tech in 2017.
