Lauretta De Feo

Lauretta De Feo is a practice development lawyer in the Construction & Engineering team based in the Birmingham office, supporting our construction and engineering colleagues globally.

Lauretta reviews and drafts precedent documents, produces legal know-how, delivers internal and client training, and writes and edits legal updates and articles as well as keeping the team up to date with legal and market developments, and assisting with research tasks and complex legal queries.

Before becoming a practice development lawyer, Lauretta practised both contentious and noncontentious construction law. She has extensive and varied experience advising construction professionals, developers and employers; contractors and subcontractors; and funders, on a broad range of construction matters. She has particular experience in court proceedings in the County Court, High Court, and Technology and Construction Court, and has acted for both claimants and defendants on disputes.

She has experience in many types of dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration, adjudication, preaction protocol matters, and ADR, including mediation.
