Experience
Advising an Eastern European state on an International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) dispute arising out of a property development.
Advising the Republic of Kazakhstan on a major United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) arbitration, stemming from an energy production sharing agreement with several international oil majors.
Advising a Middle Eastern organisation on a Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) construction dispute.
Advised on a high-value and highly publicised dispute in the English High Court, Chancery Division. Claims were in respect of fraudulent misrepresentation were upheld. Substantial damages were secured, and the purchase contract rescinded.
Advised a Chinese energy organisation in a (Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) administered) UNCITRAL dispute regarding a long-term liquified natural gas (LNG) sale and purchase agreement.
Advised on a commodities dispute between entities in the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa and Europe.
Advised a major global manufacturing company on a Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) dispute arising out of a commodities sale and purchase agreement.
Advised a Middle Eastern state on an ICSID dispute.
