About Luis

Luis Gutiérrez García is a senior associate in the corporate/M&A and private equity team in the Madrid office.

He graduated in 2016 with a law degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Afterwards, he graduated in 2018 with a master's degree in legal practice.

Luis joined the firm in 2021 as an associate in the Corporate/M&A and Private Equity team. Prior to this, he worked in the legal division of one of the Big 4 and a global law firm in Spain.

  • Advice to Globant (NYSE: GLOB) on the acquisition of Habitant, a consulting firm specialising in digital marketing strategy, paid media, MAdTech and digital sales.
  • Advice to Waterland Private Equity on the acquisition of a majority stake in Celestia Group, a group of companies operating, among other countries, in Spain, the Netherlands, the US and the UK, devoted to the design, production and retail of space technology components.
  • Advice to Adamo, a Spanish telecommunications operator controlled by EQT, on the acquisition of several fibre-to-the-home networks in several locations in Spain.
  • Advice to Sherpa Capital on the divestment of Macrolibros, a leading company within the graphic arts market.
  • Advice to Aquila Capital, a private equity fund focused on the investment in clean energy and sustainable infrastructure, on the acquisition of several green energy plants.
