About Michael
Michael Black is a litigation associate, based in the firm’s Washington DC office.
Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Elizabeth L. Branch of the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
During law school, Michael interned with the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the Fairfax County Circuit Court and the US House Judiciary Committee. Before law school, he spent nearly a decade working in the US Senate on legislative and policy matters. This experience provides him with a practical understanding of the legislative and regulatory considerations affecting clients.
