About Michael

Michael Fussell is an associate in our Labor & Employment Practice Group, where his practice focuses on researching and analyzing employment issues confronting employers.

Prior to joining the firm, Mike graduated from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, cum laude and Order of the Barristers, where he earned five CALI Awards for Excellence, including in appellate advocacy and the civil law clinic. Mike was actively involved as an articles editor for The Ohio State Law Journal and competed on the moot court and mock trial teams. He was awarded the Ernest Karam Book Award for excellence in legal writing.

Mike also worked as a journalist for more than half a decade before attending law school, earning professional recognition in Alaska, Georgia and Kentucky, including multiple regional Emmy nominations.
