About Olivia
Olivia Canessa Davies is an associate in our Litigation team based in London.
Olivia has broad experience in disputes across a range of sectors. She specialises in High Court litigation, including cross-border disputes.
Olivia also undertakes a variety of contentious, regulatory and commercial matters within the sports sector, working within our Sports & Entertainment Industry Group. Her clients include domestic sports clubs, sports governing bodies and athletes.
Olivia has completed secondments at two Premier League football clubs and an international sports federation.
Experience
Acting for domestic and international football clubs in high-profile disputes under the regulations of the Football Association, Premier League, UEFA and FIFA.
Advising various Premier League and EFL football clubs in relation to compliance with domestic/international regulations, including the Profitability and Sustainability Rules and the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players.
Acting for sports governing bodies in conducting internal investigations into issues such as discrimination and culture.
Acting for a sports data company on claims in various jurisdictions arising out of misappropriation of data and breach of licence conditions.
