Oxana Kravchenko

Oxana Kravchenko is a senior associate in the firm’s Government Investigations & White Collar Practice, based in Dubai. She is a native Russian speaker and dual-qualified in England and Wales and Russia. She focuses her practice on complex cross-border investigations and disputes at the intersection of financial crime, economic sanctions and private wealth.

She advises ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWIs) and associated structures on contentious ownership and control issues, asset restrictions, sanctions-related matters, and engagement with financial institutions.

Oxana’s experience spans major proceedings before the English High Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union, alongside contentious matters in Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands and elsewhere. These proceedings have involved allegations of fraud or sanctions violations, as well as shareholder disputes. Oxana has advised on sanctions-related matters, including applications to multiple authorities for sanctions derogations and in administrative proceedings contesting asset freezes. She has also managed the reputational impact of adverse public information, supported clients when responding to queries from financial institutions about topics such as beneficial ownership, and challenged related risk markers affecting banking relationships, ultimately facilitating access to financial products and liquidity for clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Oxana spent several years supporting a large discretionary trust and its underlying group companies across multiple jurisdictions. Her work included principal-side management of cross-border litigation, as well as fact-intensive investigations involving financial flow reconstruction and source-of-funds analysis, together with the evaluation of financial crime systems and controls for assurance purposes.
