About Paul

Paul Jinks has 20 years’ experience of supporting major commercial transactions in both the public and private sector with a particular focus on large-scale IT and outsourcing projects (both first generation and, the re-tendering/re-negotiation of existing arrangements).

Paul has supported major transactions across a wide range of industries and sectors, including the outsourcing of critical business functions by FCA-regulated businesses subject to SYSC 8 compliance requirements; and projects involving significant programmes of service transformation and business change.

Paul also provides more routine day-to-day support to numerous clients operating in many different markets and industries in connection with all aspects of their commercial and contractual requirements. Paul routinely wins praise for adopting a pragmatic risk based approach focused on efficiently achieving commercial objectives.

Experience

  • Advising TransUnion UK (formerly Callcredit Group) in connection with a number of high-value business critical projects, including the provision of services to its recently divested direct to consumer business.
  • Advising the Consumer and Medical Devices divisions of one of the world’s leading healthcare companies on a wide range of contract and IP matters, including a recent project to outsource the operation of its direct to consumer transactional websites.
  • Advising Live Nation Group in connection with a wide range of commercial contracts, including for the provision of business critical IT services to its festival sites.
  • Advising a number of FCA-regulated businesses in connection with projects to outsource the provision of business critical functions.
