Victoria James is an associate in the global Corporate Practice, based in the London office. Her practice covers all aspects of corporate work, including both UK and international mergers and acquisitions, private equity and general corporate advice.

Victoria has experience acting for owner-managed businesses, and advising on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment and funding rounds, company reorganisations and matters of corporate governance.

  • Advised founder/sellers in connection with the sale of their shares in Mercury Midco to Triple Private Equity (2025).
  • Advised Luceco on its acquisitions of D-Line (2024) and CMD (2024).
  • Advised private equity fund Copilot Capital on its acquisitions of PriceShape A/S (2024) and Secureflag (2024).
  • Advised a large private equity-backed group on a multijurisdictional internal reorganisation across over 18 jurisdictions (2024).
  • Advised the management team on a management buyout of UK-based technology SME Viper Innovations (2024).
  • Advised JTC on its acquisition of Hanway Advisory from Triple Point (2024).
  • Advised HC-One on its acquisition of Ideal Carehomes from Warwick Capital Partners and LNT Group (2023).
