Andrew Glaze is a partner in our Corporate Practice Group based in our Birmingham office. He has over 17 years of experience advising clients on the full range of corporate transactions.

Andrew specializes in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions including takeovers, mergers, reconstructions and joint ventures and has advised in connection with a number of hostile and recommended public takeovers and equity market fundraisings.

Andrew provides specialist advice to FTSE, AIM and private groups in relation to all aspects of company law and regulatory compliance and regularly presents at client training sessions and seminars on topical legal issues.

  • Advising the shareholders of Keycom plc in connection with the recommended takeover of Keycom by UKB Networks Limited.
  • Advising an AIM listed plc in connection with its recommend takeover by a listed Chinese acquirer, the first deal of its type in the UK.
  • Advising an AIM quoted property investment company on its hostile reverse takeover of a target company listed on the London Stock Exchange’s main market and the Channel Islands Stock Exchange.
  • Advising a household name motor manufacturer in connection with the disposal of its Formula 1 interests.
  • Advising a midlands based FTSE 350 company on a multijurisdictional cross-border class one transaction.
  • Advising a FTSE 250 company on a series of cross border acquisitions.
  • Advising a FTSE 250 support service provider on a £116 million recommended takeover of an AIM company using cash, loan notes and shares.
  • Acting on the demerger of South Staffordshire Group to create South Staffordshire plc.
  • Advising E.ON on the sale of the transmission assets of the Robin Rigg Windfarm.
