We have one of the most preeminent international dispute resolution (IDR) practices in the world. Composed of more than 130 lawyers in 25 offices in North America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia Pacific, our IDR team is among the most active globally in investment treaty arbitrations and major international commercial arbitrations.
Our Opportunities
Our IDR team is rapidly expanding. To keep pace, we hire top talent every year from the leading law schools around the world. Recently, we have implemented a new, integrated hiring program for law students and recent graduates in key arbitration markets worldwide.
Application Process
We evaluate our associate hiring needs on an ongoing basis. If you are interested in applying to be an associate in our IDR Practice, please be prepared to submit a one-page cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a law school grade transcript, a list of three references and a writing sample.
Our practice is not office centric. Almost all of our cases are staffed with lawyers from multiple offices – and, indeed, multiple countries. Nevertheless, each jurisdiction has different rules for employment opportunities.
If you are a law student or a recent law graduate and would like to apply for a position in our IDR Practice, please review our Employment Opportunities for Law Students, Trainees and Interns Brochure, or see the locations below, for further details.
US
In the US, we offer the IDR Fellowship. Each year, we award the IDR Fellowship to one or more of the top law students in US law schools who are interested in international arbitration and who have an interest in working outside the US.
