Squire Patton Boggs has advised a group of investors on the €124 million acquisition from G City Europe of the Atrium Palác Pardubice, the largest real estate deal to date in the Czech Republic this year.
The team advising on the transaction was led by partner Radek Janeček, assisted by Marek Hrubeš, Lenka Nová, Jakub Němeček and Lucie Pružinská.
The transaction was structured as an acquisition of 100% shareholding interest in the Propco, with the Squire Patton Boggs team providing legal support on the transaction, advising on vendor financing negotiations, and providing advice in connection with the establishment of a real estate investment fund (SICAV) and its fundraising documentation.
Located in the heart of Pardubice in the North of the Czech Republic, the Atrium Palác Pardubice shopping centre comprises 27,000 sq. metres of retail space, including 116 shops, a multiplex cinema, restaurants and cafes.
