Squire Patton Boggs has advised Excom, the Spanish telecommunications group backed by Formentor Capital, on the acquisition of Justo Comunicacions and Airconect, two independent telecommunications operators located in Valencia and Alicante.
With this latest transaction, Excom has successfully acquired up to five companies so far this year (Ondawifi, in Albacete, and Bandawifi, in Granada, both acquired in February; along with Fone, in Alicante, acquired in July), resulting in a total of fifteen companies acquired since Spain-based private equity firm Formentor Capital took a majority stake in Excom in 2020.
Squire Patton Boggs' Madrid office team, led by Corporate partner Carlos Blanco Morillo and comprising senior associate Javier Arenas Olivencia and associates Elena Ferrer Velasco, Íñigo Oliván García, and Jorge Boguñá Oria de Rueda, acted as legal advisors to Excom.
