Squire Patton Boggs partner and former US Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio Ben Glassman has been appointed managing partner of the firm’s Cincinnati office.
“Our office provides clients across Greater Cincinnati and the region with the resources and experience of a top-ranked global law firm,” said Mr. Glassman. “I am honored to lead this world-class office.”
Mr. Glassman also serves as deputy chair of the firm’s Government Investigations & White Collar Practice where he counsels clients on some of their most difficult and sensitive problems – whether by providing strategic advice, leading internal investigations or representing them at trial or on appeal.
“Ben is a highly respected practitioner and mentor,” said Global Managing Partner Michele Connell. “He has earned a reputation for his skill and integrity, serving his country with distinction, and serving his clients on high stakes matters.”
Ms. Connell added, “I would like to thank Ben for accepting this leadership role and Scott Kane, who has recently been appointed co-chair of the firm’s global Litigation Practice, for all he has done to continue our strong tradition of excellence across the region.”
Prior to joining Squire Patton Boggs as a partner in 2020, Ben had a distinguished career in the US Department of Justice. A graduate of Rice University and Harvard Law School, Ben joined the US Attorney’s Office in 2005 after serving as a litigation associate at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey (now Squire Patton Boggs). Ben served as US Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio from 2016 to 2019. He previously served as First Assistant United States Attorney, Acting Criminal Chief and Appellate Chief.
