Dr. Michael Adams is a registered patent agent based in the San Francisco office. Michael’s experience includes US and international patent prosecution and application drafting across a broad range of technologies.

 

As a chemist for nearly a decade, Michael brings a specialized understanding of the operational, procedural and manufacturing aspects of chemical production. Areas of focus include organic, transition metal, sustainable, analytical, food, and medicinal chemistry, as well as synthesis, quality assurance and quality control, polymers, pharmaceuticals, biochemistry, biotechnology, and oil and gas.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a patent agent at a boutique firm, as well as a director of quality and laboratories across multiple plants manufacturing dietary supplement/sports nutrition and personal care products in the Southwest. He has held several leadership and management roles in the chemical industry and has been a part of successful collaborations operating in established laboratory environments.

Michael is a former billeted Midshipman in the US Navy Reserves under the Navy ROTC at Texas A&M University, and was a member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets.
