Bandar Al-Arifi advises and represents major Saudi and foreign entities on corporate, restructuring and litigation matters. He has extensive dispute resolution experience, having represented clients before Saudi courts and in arbitration proceedings for several years. He also has a great deal of experience with the Saudi bankruptcy regime, having worked on major bankruptcy procedures in the Kingdom, acting for debtors, creditors and trustees. Bandar started his career with an international law firm in Saudi Arabia and has been trained in its Washington DC office. He also worked for a subsidiary of the Saudi Public Investment Fund before he joined the firm.

  • Acting for a major construction company in its construction contract annulment lawsuit against a governmental university.
  • Acting for a governmental entity in its national project to increase the efficiency and speed of procedures of government entities.
  • A member of the legal team involved in the distribution of the inheritance of Prince Mishaal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
  • Acting for Ahmad Hamad Al Gossaibi & Bros (AHAB) in its SAR35 billion-plus (US$9.3 billion) – Saudi Arabia’s largest – restructuring and settlement with creditors.
  • Advising a leading Saudi cybersecurity and cloud services provider, drafting and reviewing cybersecurity and cloud computing agreements with clients and software suppliers, and providing in-house legal support on corporate and technology matters.
  • Advising Saudi Cloud Computing Company (Alibaba Cloud) on day-to-day corporate legal advice relating to transactional, governance and regulatory matters.
  • Securing the opening of financial restructuring procedures for Pan Gulf Holding Company and, separately, its subsidiaries Gulf Specialty Works Company and Piping Systems Company.
