Alex Brack is a commercial litigator practicing in our Environmental, Safety & Health Practice Group based out of the Denver office.

Alex supports clients on a broad spectrum of complex litigation issues, including business disputes, Administrative Procedure Act (APA) challenges and environmental liability claims, with a particular focus on dispositive motion practice aimed at resolving matters before trial.

Before joining the firm, Alex served as a paratrooper in the US Army. After his military service, he returned to Colorado to pursue his education, earning a B.A. in philosophy and a J.D. from the University of Colorado. During law school, Alex clerked for the US District Court for the District of Colorado and held several leadership roles, including vice president of the Black Law Students’ association and managing editor of the Colorado Technology Law Journal, where he advocated for underrepresented voices while fostering a lifelong interest in technology.

During law school, Alex also worked with startups through the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, advising clients on business formation and governance matters. Alex believes that his experience in both business litigation and transactional work provides valuable insight for drafting stronger agreements and resolving disputes when they arise.
