Ramón Castilla has more than 25 years of experience as a corporate M&A and real estate lawyer.

He has been recognized since 2012 by international directories Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 among the leading real estate lawyers in Spain. He is recognized as “a client-oriented ethic and solution driven approach to cases" as well as for "his ability to maintain his focus and determination while delivering a client-friendly service”.

Ramón's main expertise includes the assistance on corporate law, M&A deals (including due diligence process, negotiation of SPA/SHA/IASHA/NBOs/LBOs), merger and acquisitions and general business law.

Regarding Real Estate, Ramón's main expertise includes assistance in the purchase and sale of the companies operating in the real estate sector; purchase and lease back of all types of real estate assets (including department stores, office buildings, industrial premises and hotels); sale and lease back operations of real estate assets; financing and corporate restructuring of real estate groups; lease agreements acting for both landlords and tenants; hotel operation and commercial management agreements; turnkey and forward funding agreements.

His expertise also covers advising international groups on their energy projects projects in Spain.
