Nick Cochrane-Dyet MBE is a senior advisor to the firm, providing specialist advice on various topics and activities related to the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council states.

Nick has been associated with the Emirates since childhood, when his father, an officer in the British Army, was stationed in the UAE and serving with the Trucial Oman Scouts. In his early days, Nick managed His Highness Sheikh Zayed’s Royal Stud Farm before attending Sandhurst and serving as an officer in the British Army in the Brigade of Goorkhas. During that time, Nick focused on government and customer relations and ESG issues for his employers.

Nick serves as the chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce Abu Dhabi, and is on the advisory board of Sightsavers in the Middle East. He also chairs the Middle East Advisory Board of the Energy Industry Council and is the UK co-chair of the Energy Working Group of the UAE-UK Business Council. Her Majesty The Queen awarded Nick the MBE in the 2013 New Year’s Honours.
