Prior to joining the firm, Laura worked as a senior attorney at a reputable law firm in Santo Domingo.
- Advising clients on the reorganization of their assets in the Dominican Republic.
- Assisting local and foreign clients with the corporate upkeep of local companies and branches, including labor, contractual and regulatory matters.
- Participating in due diligence procedures for the acquisition of companies, real estate property and other assets in the country.
- Assisting clients in negotiating and registering distribution agreements under Dominican law.
- Assisting local and foreign companies with the registration of food and beverage products at the Dominican Ministry of Health.
- Advising foreign clients on the legal aspects of adopting children in the Dominican Republic.
