Greg handles matters administrated by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the American Arbitration Association (AAA), and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), among others. Greg represents Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, public entities, closely held corporations, and individuals.

  • Petitioned the tribunal in the ICDR for early and expedited specific performance relief ordering the sale of the parties’ joint venture pursuant to the terms of the shareholders’ agreement, which was confirmed in the Southern District of New York.
  • Advised a private equity firm in an action resulting from a borrower’s failure to repay approximately USD$36 million, successfully petitioned the trial court to appoint a receiver, and successfully defended the receiver’s decision to sell the hotel to a hospitality company for USD$43 million in the court of appeals.
  • Represented a Fortune 10 opioid distributor in multidistrict litigation against claims brought by multiple political subdivisions.
  • Represented a medical gas company in a mass-tort, product-liability action in which hospital patients alleged that the client supplied defective equipment to a major healthcare system, which concluded with the client being dismissed from all actions and released without liability.
  • Obtained the dismissal of a multinational bank from a lawsuit in the Eastern District of Kentucky alleging violations of Section 4A of the Uniform Commercial Code, negligence and conversion.
  • Defended a prominent Cleveland-area businessman in a lawsuit seeking to undo an agreement that was executed years ago and memorialized by the judgment of a Cuyahoga County-based court.
  • Represented the former owner and CEO of a closely held manufacturing company against allegations of breached representations and warranties in a sale purchase agreement, which concluded with the client receiving a high six-figure settlement.
