Steven Doi is the office managing partner of our Tokyo office and his practice focuses on general corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, project finance and investor-side venture capital transactions. Steven has been listed in The Best Lawyers in Japan since the inaugural edition in 2009 for his mergers and acquisitions expertise.

He has served as counsel in public and private company transactions in various jurisdictions, including the US, Japan, China, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, the Philippines, the UK, Belgium, France and Germany. Steven has also counseled clients in independent power projects, privatizations and other related energy and infrastructure projects in the US, Japan, China, Thailand, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
