Lynn Gattozzi focuses her practice on real estate, commercial business and finance law.

Lynn represents clients in real property acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leases, condominiums, construction and project development. She handles syndicated and nonsyndicated secured financing transactions including construction loans, letters of credit and revolving credit facilities, mezzanine and permanent financings and synthetic leases, as well as tax-deferred exchanges and sale/leaseback transactions. Lynn also counsels clients on condominium and construction law issues.

Prior to joining Squire Patton Boggs in 2007, Lynn had two decades of experience in real estate law and finance, as an associate and then a partner, in a major Ohio law firm. She has counseled publicly and privately held corporations (including manufacturing companies and utility companies), nonprofit organizations and pension funds in a wide range of real estate transactions. Lynn’s real estate financing experience includes numerous engagements, as both syndicate counsel and transaction counsel, to lenders and corporate borrowers in multinational and multicurrency credits, agented financings, investment grade, highly leveraged and asset-based financings, acquisition financings, construction financings and credit enhancement facilities, such as letters of credit, in connection with public finance transactions and conduit financings.

Lynn has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 2006 and is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell.

Lynn is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women, Inc., of Cleveland. She is an active member of the American, Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations.

  • Representing a bank syndicate member in connection with its participation in a US$130 million construction loan facility to finance the construction of a residential condominium project.
  • Representing a publicly held manufacturer of cryogenic products in connection with various facility leases, financing transactions and property dispositions.
  • Providing regular representation as real estate counsel to syndicate agents and lenders in asset-based transactions ranging in size from US$20 million to
    US$150 million.
