Manuel Gómez González is a senior associate in the firm’s corporate, M&A and private equity team in the Madrid office.

Manuel has experience in advising national and international clients in M&A transactions, including due diligence processes, and the negotiation and drafting of acquisition agreements (for shares, assets or a combination of both), particularly in the energy sector. Moreover, he has advised both private and listed companies on board and corporate secretarial matters, as well as mergers, integrations and corporate reorganisations.

Manuel was a senior associate at an international legal services firm for eight years before joining the firm, working in its London office for a year. He holds a degree in law, a master's degree in stock exchange and financial markets from IEB and a master's degree in business law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues.

  • Advising Ignis Energía on the sale of 43 greenfield PV projects with a joint capacity of 3.3GW to Total Energies (2020).
  • Advising Total Energy on the sale of Novenergía Energy & Envieronment, owner of seven PV projects with a joint capacity of 22.2MW, and Ne2s – Energía y Ambiente, a services company, to Q-Energy (2020).
  • Advising Artá Capital on the acquisition of 100% of Nucap Europe and Nucap Vehicle Component (Shanghai) from Nucap Industries (2019).
  • Advising Corpfin Capital on the sale of Viajes Catai to Grupo Barceló (2016).
