Louisa Hine
Director (admitted in England and Wales, not Australia)
Louisa Hine is a director within the global Corporate Practice, originally based in Leeds and currently on secondment to our Sydney office. Louisa advises businesses, managers, investors and legal teams on a range of strategic transactions and day-to-day legal solutions. Louisa has experience in UK, Australian and international mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, particularly in the technology and digital sector.
- Advising Thiess on:
- The acquisition by major shareholder CIMIC Group Limited of an additional 10% equity interest in Thiess from Elliott Advisors
- Its acquisition from Metarock of Australian-based underground metals business Pybar Holdings Limited (and its 100% subsidiary Pybar Mining Services Pty Ltd)
- Advising Oakley Capital and Equivia Partners on their investment in Webcentral, a leading Australian domains, hosting and email provider.
- Advising LDC on its investment into Cellhire, a global provider of mobile voice and data and Internet of Things (IoT) communications services.
- Advising Growth Capital Partners on its investment into Robiquity, a specialist intelligent automation services provider.
- Advising Clearcourse, software solutions group backed by Acquiline Capital, on a number of acquisitions, including retail management software provider EPOS Bureau, hospitality gift voucher management system Giftpro and job management software provider Eworks Manager.
- Advising the IDHL Group, the Harrogate-based digital marketing group, on its bolt-on acquisitions of Pinpoint Designs, Statement, Wired Plus, Fostr and Ampersand bolstering its Magento, eCommerce and Shopify plus agency offerings.
- Advising Wavenet, UK supplier of business telecommunication and technology solutions, backed by Macquarie Capital, on its acquisition of Excell Group to advance its cloud and workspace offering.
- Advising the shareholders of Search Laboratory, the Leeds-based digital search agency business, on its sale to Havas Media Group.
