    • Acting for the shareholders of Hadrian Healthcare Group, a provider of high quality care in luxury accommodation, with the sale of five of the group’s care homes in the North East of England and Yorkshire to Aviva Investors for a value of more than £100 million (winner of deal of the year (above £10 million) at the North East Dealmaker Awards 2019).
    • Acting for the shareholders of Smart Utility Management, a provider of energy utility management and switching services to SMEs across the UK, on the sale of the company to ECI-backed Make It Cheaper.
    • Advising the directors of Samuel Knight International, a specialist recruitment provider working in the rail and energy sectors across the UK and internationally, on a significant investment by Gresham House Ventures into the company.
    • Advising the directors of Banks Renewables, the renewable energy division of the Banks Group, on a complex group restructure as part of an £82 million refinance of its wind farms.
    • Advising the directors of AVID Technology Group, a specialist in the manufacture of propulsion systems for heavy-duty and high performance electric and hybrid vehicles, on a £7 million investment by Maven Capital Partners.
