Genevieve Hubbard advises clients on complex international trade and public policy matters. She counsels multinational companies, trade associations, and other stakeholders, on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues, with a particular focus on US trade policy; technology and artificial intelligence; and immigration and labor. Genevieve helps clients navigate shifting legal frameworks, assess risk, and engage strategically with federal agencies and policymakers in an evolving global trade environment. Genevieve also works with clients on issues concerning government contracts. She has experience litigating government contracts cases, drafting bid protests, and advising contractors on regulatory developments impacting their work with the federal government.
While in law school, Genevieve was a member of the Re-Entry Clinic, where she worked with individuals struggling as a result of their contact with the criminal justice system. She also served as a staff member on the American University Business Law Review.
Immediately prior to joining the firm, Genevieve served in the office of Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX), former Chairman of the House Rules Committee. In this role, she accumulated wide-ranging Capitol Hill experience and a practical understanding of congressional procedure and process.
Genevieve graduated from Baylor University in Texas, where she received a B.A. in international studies and political science, with a minor in Spanish. She received her J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University.
