Trevor Kehrer is an associate based in the Houston office who focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Trevor was an associate at an international law firm where he focused on complex commercial arbitration and litigation in federal and state courts. In his prior position, he served on the steering committee of a firm interest group for lawyers of Middle Eastern descent and was involved in a firm initiative for first generation lawyers. He has also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Jonathan Allen Kobes of the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Sandra Segal Ikuta of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

While attending law school, Trevor served as the executive comments editor for the Chicago Journal of International Law. He also received the Ann Watson Barber Outstanding Service Award for exceptional contributions to student life.

  • Defended a global oil and gas company in a federal Securities Exchange Act class action lawsuit relating to exploration and production activities.
  • Brought claims relating to unconstitutional prison conditions in federal court on behalf of a pro bono client.
