Marcus Lee acts for clients in relation to regulatory and commercial litigation, including consumer law matters.

Marcus has also completed a rotation in our Labour & Employment Practice, where he assisted with a range of employee and workplace relations matters, including employment contracts, employment award coverage, the application of federal and state employment entitlements, and assisting with redundancies and terminations.

  • Assisting with preparing for the defence of charges laid under the Environmental Protection Act 1986 (WA) arising from odour emissions at an industrial manufacturing facility.
  • Assisting with preparing advice in relation to various provisions of the Australian Consumer Law, including misleading and deceptive conduct, for a resources and construction services provider.
  • Assisting with advising on procedures surrounding the foreign service of documents under the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 2005 (NSW) and the Hague Service Convention.
  • Preparing employment contracts, deeds of settlement and release, and other documentation relating to employee separations and redundancies.
  • Preparing advice on the application of various Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) provisions and employee long service leave entitlements under various pieces of state and territory legislation.
  • Preparing advice on the coverage of modern awards in preparation for enterprise agreement bargaining activities.
