Iris Lim is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group, where she advises clients on a wide range of complex corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, formations and dissolutions, venture capital transactions, institutional and private equity financing, as well as corporate governance and general corporate matters.

Iris’ fluency in Korean, coupled with having lived in over seven countries across four continents, gives her a global perspective when approaching legal matters and counseling clients. Among her colleagues, Iris is known for being detail-oriented, timely, communicative and having great project management skills.

Prior to joining the firm, Iris served as a judicial clerk to Judge David D. Weinzweig at the Arizona Court of Appeals, where she drafted over 20 decisions and recommendations. Her exceptional work at the Court of Appeals earned her the “Above and Beyond” award, a recognition nominated by her peers. While in law school, Iris was the managing editor of the Arizona State Law Journal and received the CALI award for achieving the highest grade in Legal Method & Writing.

Iris’ experience includes assisting with a wide range of corporate matters, including serving as a key team member of the following transactions:

  • Advised LRQA Inc. in its acquisition of Core Business Solutions LLC and CertFast LLC, both US-based technology companies that provide solutions for regulatory compliance.
  • Advised Flex-Tek Group (US) LLC in its acquisitions of Modular Metal Fabricators, Inc., a California corporation and The Duc-Pac Corporation, a Massachusetts corporation.
  • Advised Bristol Pipe and Tube, Inc. in its acquisition of Bristol Metals, LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company.
  • Advised Crest Insurance Group, LLC in its acquisition of Horizon Insurance Services, a Nevada limited liability company.
  • Advised Cavco Industries, Inc. with an internal reorganization that included mergers, asset transfers and share transfers among the company’s subsidiaries.
  • Advised Crexendo in preparing, filing and evaluating the effectiveness of its US$75 million stock offering.
  • Advised Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. in its acquisition of Orenco Systems, Inc., an Oregon corporation.
  • Advised Glendale Industrial Supply, L.L.C. in its sale to NEFCO Construction Supply LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.
  • Advised Bowlin Travel Centers, Inc. on its issuer tender offer to repurchase shares.
  • Advised JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. on its financing project with Tesla, Inc., a Texas corporation, in which they entered into several agreements.
  • Advised The Mahoney Group, an independent insurance broker, with general corporate governance and formation of its non-profit foundation.
