Alfonso López
Partner
Alfonso López is a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group based in our Madrid office. He has more than 18 years of experience with particular expertise in real estate, project finance, M&A, corporate finance, reorganizations and joint ventures, commercial transactions and general corporate law.
He also has specialized energy sector experience in the photovoltaic business, holding the office of Secretary non Board member of the first Spanish PV listed company.
Alfonso is a regular speaker at various seminars and conferences organized by universities and educational centers.
- Advising on the finance, construction, acquisition and operation of several hotels for different hotel owners.
- Advising on the Spanish joint venture of an integrated energy multinational with interests in South America, including the corporate restructuring of the oil, refiner and fuel retailer companies of the group.
- Advising on the purchase and sale of a commercial center for a large Spanish retail distribution group.
- Advising on the leasing process for one of the largest opened commercial complexes in Spain.
- Advising on the sale and leaseback of several premises from a large Spanish tour operator.
- Advising on the reorganization of multinational corporations with Spain-based holding companies and subsidiaries in several countries in South America including Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico.
- Advising on the acquisition of a Spain-based company engaged in maintenance of “electro-medicine” equipment.
- Advising on the merger of several companies of a large international industrial group engaged in technical installations and maintenance with a strong presence in Spain.
- Advising a listed Spanish photovoltaic corporation on the acquisition of wafers, cells and manufacturing technology in the international market, supply of PV panels and drafting of EPC and O&M contracts.
