Mona’s background is well rounded with substantial experience in domestic and cross-border debt financing transactions, workout and restructuring matters, public finance, M&A, general corporate law matters and in-house counsel perspective. Mona serves US banks and nontraditional lenders, as well as many Asian banks and their US branches. Due to her versatile work experience, Mona is able to help clients navigate the complexities of their transactions, and frequently leads multibillion-dollar financings.

  • Representing the Los Angeles branch of a major Taiwanese bank as lead bank in connection with a US$515 million multicurrency term and revolving credit facility extended to a global food manufacturer for one of the world’s most recognizable canned goods labels.
  • Representing the Silicon Valley branch of a large Taiwanese bank in its US$200 million term loan facility to a California-based plastics manufacturer.
  • Representing the Los Angeles branches of multiple Taiwanese, Hong Kong and Chinese banks in structuring and documenting credit facilities ranging from US$50 million to US$200 million, extended to various US subsidiaries of a Taiwan-based electronics manufacturer.
