Dr. Sandra Müller is a partner in the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group in Frankfurt. She focuses on litigation in trademark, design, patent and unfair competition disputes. She has represented clients from the luxury brand, consumer goods and food industries in various infringement proceedings before the German courts and in cancellation and opposition proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office, the German Federal Patent Court and the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), including litigation before the European General Court and the European Court of Justice.

Further sectors of her practice include the management of global trademark and design portfolios, as well as rendering strategic IP advice.

Sandra holds a German Ph.D. in comparative law on publishing agreements and copyright from the University of Osnabrück and was a member of the Study Group on a European Civil Code. Since 2011, she has lectured on intellectual property and unfair competition law at Leibniz University Hannover law school.

Sandra serves as Co-Chair of the MARQUES Education Team. She represents MARQUES in the Examination Board and as a tutor in the EUIPO Trade Mark and Design Education Programme (ETMD EP). Sandra is a member of the Frankfurt Bar Association, the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and the International Trademark Association (INTA). She has been recognized by WTR 1000 2024 and praised as a “highly recommended practitioner and she excels in supplying thoughtful trademark advice.”
