Dr. Kevin Noson is an associate based in our San Francisco office. Kevin’s experience includes patent prosecution and portfolio management for startup, mid-size, and established companies, life science companies and academic institutions. Representative areas of focus include pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, polymers, furnaces, image sensors, food products, diamond technology, battery technology, sports equipment, cosmetic devices, lubricants, renewables and apparel. Kevin also provides opinion work following due diligence efforts.

Prior to joining the firm, Kevin worked at large international and boutique firms, as well as a medicinal and process development chemist for several biotechnology companies. In these roles, he advised clients related to multidisciplinary patent matters, and/or developed chemical syntheses for small molecules targeted for oncology, inflammation, metabolic diseases, bio-renewables or aesthetic medicine purposes.

Kevin’s academic experience encompassed research related to asymmetric homogeneous/heterogeneous organometallic catalysis at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and total synthesis endeavors related to oncology and antibiotic targets at Harvard University. His research experience has manifested in co-authorship of several peer-reviewed scientific publications.
