Adriana Pavlovičová joined the firm in 2023 as a junior associate in the International Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm, Adriana worked as a junior associate for internationally recognised law firms and as a legal and data protection trainee at the EUIPO in Alicante, Spain.

In her previous roles, Adriana has been involved in a variety of business transactions, including negotiating, drafting and reviewing contracts and other agreements associated with business activities, such as mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. She has also participated in foreign due diligence reviews focusing on corporate, employment and IP issues.

During her studies, Adriana focused on international commercial and investment arbitration, dedicating both her bachelor's and master's theses to the intricate issues surrounding international arbitration. This specialised academic background equips her with a profound understanding of arbitration principles and procedures, enhancing her ability to provide strategic and informed guidance in complex cross-border disputes.

Adriana is a registered legal trainee with the Slovak Bar Association.

  • Providing legal advice to a leading global events organiser, to facilitate seamless immigration processes for foreign-based workers, enabling smooth and efficient event organisation in the Slovak Republic, including entry visa, residency and work permitting in the Slovak territory and related consultations with the foreign police and the labour inspectorate.
  • Advising a municipality on various real estate and construction matters, in particular to help the municipality to acquire land for its sports and recreation zone that it lost in a previous complex historical litigation.
  • Assisting an American multinational information technology services and consulting company in connection with ongoing employment matters, including individual hiring and dismissals, contracts and immigration issues.
  • Assisting a foreign embassy in connection with the negotiation of an international contract.
  • Assisted in advising multiple employers on their daily labour and employment agendas, including collective redundancy, unlawful termination, discrimination cases and cross-border mobility.
  • Representing clients in front of data protection authorities in data breach notification proceedings.
  • Assisting multiple multinational corporations with data protection and compliance matters.
  • Advising clients on M&A, including due diligence regarding employment, corporate and IP matters.
