Ying Seah assists clients across all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. Ying’s experience includes advising on property acquisitions and disposals, including super lot sales and complex titling issues;, leasing transactions across asset classes (acting for both landlords and tenants); and capital transactions in all jurisdictions for a range of clients, including large Australian and international companies, property funds, developers and government. Ying also assists on the real estate aspects of corporate mergers and acquisitions.

  • Acting for major landlord clients in leasing and development transactions, including in relation to:
    • Commercial office and retail tenancies in “A” and “B” grade office buildings in New South Wales and Victoria
    • Leasing industrial offices and warehouses in Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia to large national and international tenant entities
    • A bespoke whole of floor office lease in a hotel building in the Australian Capital Territory
  • Acting for a large national developer and assisting in the purchase of land in Victoria and South Australia for a residential land lease development involving consideration of transfer of water rights, caravan park and movable dwellings legislation.
  • Providing advice on complex titling issues, including boundary encroachments, easements, covenants and restrictions on transfer, as well as the subdivision of land.
  • Advising on leasing and related matters for a portfolio of sites leased by a major service station operator.
