John Shelley has significant experience in trusts and estates and personal wealth planning including such related matters as asset protection planning, maximizing the value of deferred compensation and retirement plan benefits, executive compensation, charitable giving and the representation of nonprofit organizations.

John also represents physicians, medical practices and medical specialty societies. He chairs the firm’s technology committee.

John is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He is active in the Estate Planning Council of Greater Cleveland, the Law Technology Roundtable and the Cleveland Will & Trust Group. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 2005 and was selected by Law & Politics magazine as an Ohio Super Lawyer.
