Rebekah Sungala is a public policy advisor in the firm’s Washington DC Public Policy Practice. She works closely with former Congressman Bill Shuster and the firm’s Public Policy Practice, assisting clients in navigating the US Congress, congressional procedures and a variety of public policy issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Rebekah worked in the Capitol Hill office of Congressman Shuster, handling operations and scheduling during his time as Chairman of the House Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure. Rebekah also worked on the Transportation & Infrastructure Committee. During her time working in the US Congress, Rebekah gained extensive knowledge of the legislative process, developed strong relationships with both Republican and Democratic committee and leadership staff, and formed key contacts at the executive branch level.

Rebekah now advises clients with interests in transportation, infrastructure and federal funding, among other areas, ensuring their legislative priorities are heard and advocated for before Congress, the executive branch and additional relevant stakeholders. She continues to foster her existing relationships within the federal government, as well as at the state government level in Pennsylvania, and strategically leverages her network of contacts in developing and implementing an effective advocacy strategy and providing customized solutions.
